nabto_client_connection_set_application_name()

DESCRIPTION

Provide information about the application which uses nabto, such that it is easier to understand what apps has what communicaton behavior. The application name is also present in central connection information.

DECLARATION

NABTO_CLIENT_DECL_PREFIX NabtoClientError NABTO_CLIENT_API
nabto_client_connection_set_application_name(NabtoClientConnection* connection,
                                             const char* appName)

PARAMETERS

connection:
[in] the connection
appName:
[in] the application name. The string is copied into the connection.

RETURNS

  • NABTO_CLIENT_EC_OK: on success
  • NABTO_CLIENT_EC_INVALID_STATE: if the connection is not in the setup phase
